WHAT WE DO

CBCA raises funds to run our organization in support of projects and programs that benefit the community of Clayton, California. The CBCA raises funds through memberships, donations, events, our annual festivals, and through our ongoing CBCA Clayton Bocce and Cornhole Leagues.

HOW WE DO IT

Our continued success is largely due to dedicated volunteers who give many hours of their time in service of the organization. Many elect to become members so they can vote on how the association’s funds will be spent. Members also serve on the many committees it takes to raise funds, produce programs, and administer the organization.

ORGANIZATION 

Founded in 1984 as a 501(c)4 social welfare organization that advocated for local businesses and encouraged downtown growth. In 2013 CBCA members voted to become a 501(c)3 charity which focused the mission on philanthropy and allowed the association to accept fully tax-deductible donations.

The association is managed by an Executive Board who brings matters related to the annual budget, grant requests and governance to the General Membership for a vote.
